EU-FIB Workshop 2026

Mason Adshead, Technical Specialist for the new AMES facility, attended the EU-FIB workshop 2026 in Marseille from the 8th-11th September. Mason gave a well-received presentation on ‘Deterministic Single Ion Implantation’ and then answered questions around the detection efficiency data and the development of standard TEM samples for AI / ML assisted analysis. There were further discussions during the workshop around the understanding of single ion implantation detection mechanisms being utilised by colleagues working in this field.
