Ultrafast magnetism meets Terahertz photonics (CRIM 2026)

Xinyun Liu last week attended Ultrafast magnetism meets Terahertz photonics (CRIM 2026) at the Institute of Physics in London. Xinyun presented a talk called “Probing the Ion Implantation 3D Profile via Scattering-Type Near-Field Microscopy” which showcased her work on THz nanoscopy of ion-implanted materials and demonstrated that s-SNOM can be used to extract quantitative information with the aid of plasmon-assisted signal.
